Study on mixtures of higher alcohols used as the solid-liquid phase-change materials for thermal storage

摘要 The mixtures of higher alcohols are the stable solid-liquid phase change material for thermal storage.The experimental results here showed that the temperatures of phase-transition of those materials are in the range of 35-50℃ depending on their compositions.For the mixture with the melting point of about 47℃,the characters of melting and solidifying stages as well as the changes of the enthalpies and volumes in phase shange were studied.The effect of the graphite on the thermal conductivity of this mixture was also discussed.
