摘要
英语和汉语分别属于印欧语系和汉藏语系,无论在文字、语义还是语法方面都存在着巨大差别。本文拟从文字、语义以及语法探讨这两种语言的差异,以期对英语学习和英汉互译有所帮助。
Because English and Chinese belong to two different language families： the Indo-European and Sino-Tibetan, there are great differences between the two languages in word-formation, semantics and grammar. This paper tries to explore the differences between the two languages in word-formation, semantics and grammar so as to be helpful to English learners and to translation practice.
