摘要
文章分析了花木兰及其他人物在中美两国的文化定位,指出迪斯尼是把“美国木兰”放到中国背景中,有意误读了原来话语,给原作中的精神实质“忠”“孝”赋予现代的意义阐释。同一母题在两个国家的不同解读,揭示了中美的文化差异。迪斯尼公司精良的制作也构成了对中国的传统文化的冲击。
The article has analyzed Hua Mulan and other charalters in the cultural localizotion of China and America,and pointed out that disney version was their take on this story. It＇s sort of like American Mulan in China. It misunderstood Chinese ＂loyalty＂ and ＂filial piety＂ on purpose. The different understanding between China and America can be attributed to the divergence of two cultures. Disney＇s production was a severe shock to the traditional Chinese culture.
