E-钙黏附素及β-连环蛋白在上皮性卵巢癌中的表达及临床意义 被引量:6

Expressions of E-cadherin and β-catenin in human primary epithelial ovarian carcinomas and their clinical significance

摘要 目的研究上皮性卵巢癌组织中E-钙黏附素(E-cadherin)、β-连环蛋白(β-catenin)表达情况,探讨其表达与上皮性卵巢癌生物学行为的关系.方法应用免疫组化方法,检测38例正常卵巢组织和80例上皮性卵巢癌组织中E-cadher-in及β-catenin蛋白表达的情况,并结合卵巢癌的病理分级、淋巴结转移情况和临床分期对其表达进行分类和统计分析.结果相对于正常卵巢组织,E-cadherin在上皮性卵巢癌组织中表达明显降低(P<0.05),且随细胞分化程度降低而减少(P<0.05),随临床分期的增加而降低(P<0.05),伴有区域性淋巴结转移者,E-cadherin表达明显降低(P<0.05);β-catenin在上皮性卵巢癌组织中表达明显增高(P<0.05),其表达量随临床分期的增加而增加(P<0.05),伴有区域性淋巴结转移者其表达增高(P<0.05),与细胞分化程度无关(P>0.05).结论E-cadherin的表达降低及β-catenin的表达增高与上皮性卵巢癌的生物学行为密切相关;两者在上皮性卵巢癌组织中的表达呈负相关;E-cadherin及β-catenin表达水平的高低可作为判断上皮性卵巢恶性肿瘤患者预后的指标. AIM: To evaluate the relationship between the expressions of E-cadherin, β-eatenin and the biologic behavior of primary epithelial ovarian carcinomas. METHODS: The levels of E-cadherin and β-catenin expressions were examined in 30 cases of normal ovarian tissue and 80 cases of primary epithelial ovarian carcinomas by immunohistochemical technique , and the expressions was classified and analyzed statistically according to pathological grading, lymphatic metastasis and clinical staging. RESULTS: In comparison with the normal ovarian tissue, the expression of E-eadherin was significantly decreased in the poorly differentiated tumor and in the advanced patients ( P 〈 0.05 ), and also in the tumor tissues from the patients with local lymphnode metastases (P 〈 0.05 ). On the contrary, the expression of β- catenin was significantly increased in all kinds of primary epithelial ovarian carcinomas ( P 〈 0.05 ) , and it was upregulated along with the progressing of clinical stage ( P 〈 0.05 ) ; it was the same in the tumor tissues from the patients with local lymphnode metastases ( P 〈 0. 05 ), but no differences were found in relation to cell differentiation ( P 〉 0.05 ). CONCLUSION : The downregulation of E-cadherin and the upregulation of β-catenin are correlated with the malignant behavior of primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma, and the examination of E-cadherin and [3-catenin expression in primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma can help to evaluate its clinical prognosis.
