The founding of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in 2000 is an important historical event that has resulted from long friendship for a half century and cooperation between China and Africa and opened up a new phase for Sino- African cooperation.Ever since the founding of the forum,China and Africa have respectively adopted a series measures,and have made great efforts to establish follow-up mechanism. Under the framework of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation,bilateral cooperation between China and Africa has achieved outstanding achievements and enjoys bright future.The further development of Sino-African cooperation will make great contributions to world peace and development.
