摘要
W9834S是以W6111S的衍生系I3S为母本,常规早稻金宝2号为父本杂交选育而成的早籼型温敏核不育系,2005年1月通过湖北省科技厅组织的技术鉴定。W9834S在武汉的完全不育期60 d以上,不育期间不育株率100%,花粉败育度100%,套袋自交不育度99.99%。株型较紧凑,叶片挺直,叶色绿,不育起点温度低(23℃左右)。柱头外露率高,配合力强,所配杂交早稻组合熟期早,米质较优,产量高。
W9834S, derived from a sterile plant in the F2 generation of the cross of I3S (a derivative line from W6111S) and Jinbao 2 (an early rice variety) and developed by way of directional selection, is an early indica thermo-sensitive genic male sterile (TGMS) line with a low critical sterility-inducing temperature about 23℃. Grown in Wuhan, it had a long stable sterile period over 60 days with 100% of sterile plant rate, 100% of pollen sterility rate and 0.01% bagged selfed-seed set. it is characteristic of good plant type, high stigma exertion rate, high combining ability and high yielding capacity in its multiplication and hybrid seed production. Deriving from it, some promising Ft hybrids have been developed and showed strong tillering ability, early maturity, good grain quality and high yield. It was technically identified and registered in Hubei in January, 2005.
