摘要
北京报界公会是近代北京地区第一个报业同业组织,在抵制报律、争取言论自由、维护报界公益等方面颇有建树,其成立与组织活动是北京报界群体意识日益自觉的一个显例,可借此把握北京报界结社的特征与趋向。
The treatise of Beijing Press League was first press group in Beijing that contributed a lot in maintaining press＇s commonweal, protecting journalists＇ rights and interests and resisting newspaper rule. Its activities has become a noted example of that the press group＇s mind was becoming self-conscious. Thereby we can have a clear understanding of press group in Beijing.
