摘要
英译汉是大学英语教学中的基本内容之一。提高学生的英译汉能力,关键在于英语教学中教师要引导学生强化阅读理解,强化英汉两种语言对比,使学生掌握两种语言的特点,顺利进行词汇和句法的转换,忠实传达原文的信息;同时,学生必须进行大量的翻译实践,灵活运用翻译技巧。
English-Chinese translation is generally believed to be one of the basic components of College English. The key to the improvement of college students＇ ability in English-Chinese translation lies in the fact that teachers guide students to put an emphasis on reading comprehension and on a comparison of the two languages in English teaching and learning. By doing so, students can enjoy some freedom in making lexical and syntactical changes and faithfully transfer the messages of the original text on the basis of having a good command of the main features of English and Chinese. Meanwhile, students are required to do more translation practice and flexibly apply translation techniques.
