摘要
结合北京大学图书馆的期刊回溯工作,提出期刊按分类排架管理的方式。指出分类管理中应注意的问题,具体介绍分类法与分类级别确立的原则、学科属性之间的关系、期刊版本的著录形式,期刊变化沿革的延续或分离等问题。提出刊次号按卡特著者号取号的方式,并比较分类排架与刊名字顺排架方式的利弊。
Based on the process of periodicals backtracking in Library of Peking University, a method for the periodical classification is proposed in this paper. Several aspects need be considered in classification and indexing, such as the principle for the classification, the relationship between different disciplines, cross reference of classification, edition and transformation of periodicals. And a proposition for periodical number is tabled by Cutter Author Marks. But the method still has advantages and disadvantages of by periodical classifications and periodical titles.
