摘要
新闻公正性原则的基本要义是尊重事实,实事求是,这也是新闻真实性的必然要求。新闻公正性原则是通过媒体和记者平衡各种消息来源和对事件的不同解释所显示出来的中立而体现出来的。虽然新闻公正性是中西方新闻界普遍推崇和追求的原则,但在具体的新闻报道实践中,公正性是不可能完全达到的,公正总是不可避免地被倾向性,即媒体和记者的立场所影响。新闻公正性原则面临诸多挑战,需要新闻从业人员把它作为一项原则去追求、一个目标去逼近。
The essence of news equity is to respect facts, to seek truth from the facts, which also is the requirement for news authenticity. It is through balancing myriad of sources of news from the media and journalists; through keeping a neutral stand among all kinds of explanations for an event that news equity is shown. Though news equity is the principle western media generally acknowledges and seeks after, in the actual news reporting, equity cannot be brought into full play. Inevitably, it will be affected by inclination, i.e. the standing point of the media and journalists. News equity is faced with many challenges. It needs news practitioners to aspire, after it as a principle, to try to reach and realize it as and end goal.
