摘要
水声信道是一种多途、时变和频散的信道,声波在其中的传输行为十分复杂,加之水声传输的带宽有限及远距离传输时的载波频率较低,使得传输距离和数据率这一对矛盾尤为突出,如何在增大作用距离的同时提高传输数据率是水声通信的难点。在80 km海上试验和分析研究M C、M P-SK编码调制的基础上,提出了适合于远程高速水声通信的M C-M PSK的编码调制方法,以及基于M C-M PSK编码调制的梳状均衡方法,建立浅海远程水平通信的信道模型,对均衡器及系统的性能进行仿真,仿真结果表明该编码调制方法可实现低信噪比、多径水声信道的高数据率传输。
We aim to present a better method for long range communication in UWA (underwater acoustic) channel that is multi-path, time-varying and frequency-dispersive. Based on the oceanic experiments in 80 km range communication and the theoretical study of MC (multi carrier) and MPSK (multi phase shift keying) modulations, a novel method of MC-MPSK modulation is presented in this paper. In the full paper, we explain the better method in much detail. In it we successively discuss four points: (1) the model of UWA communication channel; (2) the method of MC-MPSK modulation and demodulation combines the MFSK (multi frequency shift keying) with MPSK; the carrier of MPSK is the frequency information of MFSK; the information is transmitted by both frequencies and phases of signals; (3) the comb equalizer for MC-MPSK in the fading UWA communication channel; (4) the simulation results of the comb equalizer and the MC-MPSK; one result particularly worth noticing is that the SNR (signal to noise ratio) can be less than -10 dB when the BER(bit error rate) is 10^-4 The simulation results indicate that MC-MPSK is useful in long-range underwater acoustic communication.
