摘要
综述了大块金属玻璃焊接领域的最新进展;介绍了成功焊接大块金属玻璃的不同方法,包括爆炸焊、电火花焊、电子束焊、用多层金属片进行焊接等熔化焊,以及固相下的摩擦焊。熔化焊接方法的成功,原因在于大块金属玻璃的玻璃态成型能力和在这些方法中高的线能量;而摩擦焊接的成功,则是由于金属玻璃在过冷液相区的热稳定性以及在该区域的超塑性和粘滞性。
Current progress in the investigation into welding of bulk metallic glass is reviewed. Several methods of welding bulk metallic glasses (such as the liquid phase welding including explosion, sparking welding, electron- beam and using reactive multiplayer foils, and supercooled phase welding using friction welding )are introduced in this paper. Successful welding of the liquid phase methods is due to the high glass-forming ability of the bulk metallic glasses and the high concentration of welding energy in these methods. The supercooled liquid phase welding is successful due to the thermally stable supercooled liquid state of the bulk metallic glasses and the superplasticity and viscous flow of the supercooled liquid.
