摘要
文化的差异在很大程度上决定了语言的差异，语言是文化的载体，不了解语言赖以存在的文化，就很难真正学好一门外语。因此，学习和使用一门外语，必须同时学习和适应这门外语所赖以存在的文化。英语教学中只有强调注重英美文化的学习，才能达到真正掌握英语并有效交流的目的。
The language difference depends greatly on the cultural difference, language is the carrier of a culture. If only pay attention to language itself without the knowledge of cultural background, you will find it hard to study the foreign language well. To study and apply a foreign language you must study and apply the culture that the language belongs to. We should emphasis the study of the English and American culture in our English teaching, thus we can reach the goal of mastering it and commtmicating efficiently.
