摘要
一篇文章翻译得好坏取决于多方面的因素,有译者的思维模式和心理素质,受汉语思维的影响,受英语语法的影响。思维模式是翻译活动的基础,它构成翻译的思维层次,而翻译的思维层次就决定了译文的水平。本文以学生翻译的一些典型案例来分析他们在翻译过程中的思维模式,以及解决这些问题的方法。
The quality of translation depends a lot on the translator＇s qualities, such as his mode of thinking and psychological conditions, his ability to manage the interference from his Chinese way of thinking and/or English grammar. The mode of thinking determines the levels of thinking in translation, which, in turn, determines the quality of translation. This essay analyzes the students＇ thinking in translation with examples taken from their translation exercises and test papers. Some typical mistakes are highlighted and methods for avoiding them are proposed for reference.
