摘要
本文先论述林译小说对古文义法的叙事规则的成功汲取,接下来论述林译小说在语言上的纠结与冲突,最后指出,在五四白话文学的境域中,林译小说在文学汉语上的冲突是双重的现代冲突:文学汉语与文学西语的冲突,古文和白话的冲突,前者是内在的,后者是外在的,这正是20世纪文学汉语的冲突.
This paper first deals with the successful transformation of China＇s classical grammatical rules, and then reveals the tangling of different discourses in Lin Shu＇s translation. Finally it points out that, considering the context of the May Fourth vernacular Chinese literature, Lin Shu＇s translation is in essence a product of the dual modern conflicts in literal discourses： one is the conflict between Chinese characters and foreign language and another between classical and vernacular. The former conflict is intrinsic while the latter extrinsic, both of which constitute the conflict of China＇s literary, discourses threading through the whole 20^th century.
