摘要
细胞内钙离子参与了许多重要的细胞生理功能,因此研究其三维空间分布和动态变化具有重要的生理意义。本文针对通过激光共聚焦显微镜获得的细胞内钙离子荧光图像,应用计算机可视化技术,提出了一种四维(空间和时间)可视化技术方法,用于描述钙离子在细胞内的三维空间分布及其随时间的变化。
Intracellular Ca^2+ regulates diverse physiological functions. The spatial distribution of intracellular calcium and its activity is a key to understand this point. This paper reported a novel system which provides 4D (space and time) visualization for the distribution of intracellular calcium. At first intracellular calcium fluorescence images by Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope with fixed time interval are acquired. For each time point, the scanning images are pre-processed, such as filter and registration. Then with these processed images, volume data of intracellular calcium are hybrid rendered. Finally, a series of hybrid rendering-outcomes are loaded in time sequence, thus the viewers can clearly observe the activity of calcium in the cell.
