Through his reinterpretation of Kant's aesthetics and criticism of aesthetic consciousness, Gadarner reached a conclusion about artistic truth. In his eyes, the truth that we experience in art is not a scientific truth but an existential truth. A truth about life and meaning, it changes our subjects of understanding and influences our view of the whole world.
