摘要
高职高专学生英语基础相对薄弱,而我国经济技术的发展要求高职高专院校培养出既精通专业业务又有外语交流能力的较高层次应用型人才。在这种形势下,本文提出将高职英语课程进行整合和设计,分成四大模块,即EGP教学模块、ESP教学模块、等级考试模块、实训实习模块。笔者认为这种模式既能帮助学生打下良好的英语语言基础,又能进一步强化专业知识和实践能力,从而更好地实现高职高专人才培养的目标,为我国的经济建设服务。
The most commonly occurring problem among students in vocational colleges is the lack of solid general foundation for the English language.Yet,technological and commercial developments taking place in our country require that Graduates excel both in acquiring professional skills and in English language proficiency.In view of this situation,the current article suggests four modes to help vocational college students to acquire sound foundation for English,paralleling with promoting the input of vocational knowledge,with an eye on attaining the goals of vocational training in a more efficient manner.The four modes are EGP teaching,ESP teaching,test-oriented teaching and English field training supervisor.
