摘要
本文介绍了真空电子器件和固态器件组合而成的新型电子器件──微波功率模块(MPM)。它具有真空电子器件的大功率、高效率和固态器件低噪声、小体积、轻重量的优点,成为下一代采用相控阵天线的雷达、电子战、通讯等武器系统的关键功率器件。MPM使下一代武器系统建立在共同的功率器件上,可能实现规模生产,从而降低了造价。
The microwave power module(MPM) is described in this paper,which is combined with vacuum power booster(TWTs) and a solid state amplifier(SSA)using MMIC technlogy. MPM has high power,high efficiency,low noise,small size and light weight. It is the key electron device for the next generation weapon systems,such as radar, EW and communication systems,which uses the phased array antenna. The possibility that all the military systems use the same common electron devices will make MPM economic scale production,therefore MPM will be more reliable and affordable cost.
