摘要
世界在发展,语言及文化也在变化。在发展过程中,各国都面临本国语言和文化与其它语言和文化的融汇与冲突,从世界范围看,印度在此方面最为突出。该文从英语在印度的发展原因、特点及其对印度语言文化的影响方面入手,对现阶段我国英语教学以及对我国语言文化的发展进行反思和阐述。
Great changse have been taking place to the world and to different languagse and cultures as well. In the development, all the nations have to face the problems of combination or conflicts in languagse and cultures. Among them, India is distinctively different. Bymaking an introduction to the causes,characteristics of Indian English as well as its influence to native Indian languages and cultures,the paper will put great enphasis on both the English teaching in China and the development of the Chinese language and culture.
