摘要
使用美国应用科学实验室生产的504型眼动仪,以错觉量和眼动特征为指标,考察了M櫣ller-Lyer(ML)错觉的产生及其作用过程。结果表明:(1)在ML错觉中,较长箭杆促进长度的准确判断,较长箭翼干扰长度的准确判断。减弱ML图形的总长度线索有助于降低错觉量;(3)箭杆与箭翼的交互作用对注视时间产生显著影响;(3)被试通过整合两条矛盾的线索进行长度判断,实验结果支持矛盾线索理论。
An eye tracking method was employed to confirm the mechanism responsible for Müler-lyer illusion with a Model 504 eye tracker made by an American scientific laboratory. According to the indices of illusion size and eye movement features such as fixation duration, saccadic length and regression numbers, we found that: (1)The longer shaft facilitated the subjects to get more accurate length judgment of lines while the longer fin played an opposite role in the length judgment; (2)the interaction of shaft and fin exerted an significant effect on fixation time. (3)the subjects took the actual length of the lines and the overall length of the figures as the cues to form their perception of the lines. The results in the experiment supported the conflicting cues theory but did not support the misapplied size constancy theory.
