摘要
英语作为一种国际化语言,在国际交往中起到越来越重要的作用。为适应我国高等教育的新形势,2004年1月,教育部颁布了新修订的《大学英语课程教学要求》,要求深化教学改革,提高教学质量。因此,我们有必要结合英语教学的实际,针对教学改革的要求,从教学对象研究入手,改善教学资源环境,改革教学方法和手段,提高学生外语应用能力。
After China entered WTO,balization greatly expanded world trade.English as an international language is playing a more and more important role in foreign exchanges.In order to adapt to the new situation in our higher education,the Ministry of Education published the College English Curriculum Requirements(For Trial Implementation)in Jan,2004.It requires us to further the English teaching reform and improve the quality of education.So it is quite necessary for us to consider the present situation of English teaching and act according to the requirements of teaching reform in order to improve the applied abilities of the English-learning students.And this should be started with researching the objects of study,perfecting the environment of teaching resource and reforming teaching methods.
