摘要
本调查以某学院 95级一个学员队为样本 ,采取测试和问卷形式 ,对他们在校四年的大学英语词汇量进行了全程跟踪调查。结果表明 ,1 )这批学生入学初词汇量起点较高 ,前两年词汇量增长显著 ,后两年却呈下降趋势 ;2 )在所调查的中学词汇、1— 4级词汇和 5— 6级词汇中 ,1— 4级词汇增长幅度最高 ;3 )学生的词汇量水平与其综合语言水平相关 ,但相关程度不高。
This track investigation is made on college English vocabulary of a team of students of science and technology during their 4_year stay in the college. The result shows that 1) these students have a larger vocabulary at the starting point of their college study. Their vocabulary increased markedly in the first two years, but had a descending trend in the second two years; 2) among the middle school vocabulary, band 1_4 vocabulary and band 5_6 vocabulary, the students have the largest progressive scale in band 1_4 vocabulary; 3) their vocabulary is correlated with their comprehensive language ability, but the correlation is not so distinct.
