摘要
西方幽默是西方文学的一种表现形式,同时它也是人类文化成果精华之一。西方幽默的语言含蓄,深沉,常运用夸张、双关等修辞手法,比较容易背离会话合作原则。为了达到预期的交际目的,西方幽默故事中的言语交际常常会背离质的准则,量的准则,关联准则和方式准则,而导致幽默的产生。
The Western humorous story is a kind of western literature and an important part of human being's culture. Because of the violation of Cooperative Principles,the speech of Western humorous story is always involving conversational implicature,figures of speech,such as exaggeration and pun. To reach the expected purposes in speech communication,people are likely to violate the four sub-principles of Cooperative Principle: Quantity maxim,Quality maxim,Relation maxim and Manner maxim. As a result,humor is created.
