摘要
为保护古生物各门类和岩石矿物标本,实现化石岩矿标本B/S(Brower/Server)结构的网上查询,给出了科技部基础性项目———国家化石岩矿标本库网络数据管理与网站的设计方法,其主要技术是采用3层体系结构的方法在MSVB6.0(MiscrosoftVisualBasic6.0)和MSSQLServer2000环境中,利用XML(Extensible MarkupLanguage)组件、ADO(MicrosoftActiveXDataObjects)组件、ASP(ActiveServerPage)上下文档等实现了B/S结构的数据库管理和网站的信息查询。给出了数据库结构设计、管理系统设计和网站设计的基本思路,以及化石拉丁名和矿物空间群等符号表示方法、图文资料上传与管理、SQLServer与Oracle之间的数据转换等技术关键。国家化石岩矿标本库信息网站已实现化石模式种数据及图片、岩石矿物标本数据及图片的数据库管理和多手段网上查询。实践表明,用XML/XSL(ExtensibleStylesheetLanguage)的3层体系结构技术,对随需调整数据结构和用户管理需求起到了关键作用。
In order to preserve the specimens of various ancient creatures,fossil minerals and rocks,and to achieve online search for fossil minerals and rocks with B/S(Browser/Server) structure. The design method of the national storehouse of fossil minerals and rocks network database and website management,which is the basic project of the ministry of science and technology were introduced.The dominant technology adopted in the design is that in the environmen of MS VB 6\^0(Miscrosoft Visual Basic 6\^0)and MS SQL server 2000,XML(Extensible Markup Language) component, ADO(Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects) component and ASP(Active Server Page) context shelf are composed together based on the three-tier architecture method,which succeed in realizing database management of B/S structure and information inquiry on website.Moreover,we present the basic thought on designing the database structure, management system and website,and the key techniques including the symbol expression of fossil′s Latin names and mineral space group,document upload and management,and data interface between MS SQL Server and Oracle and the like. National Storehouse of fossil minerals and rocks database website has accomplished the database management of fossil module data with picture documents,rocks and minerals specimens′data with picture documents,and multiple approaches to online inquiry.The empirical work in the paper confirms that three-tier architecture method based on XML/XSL(Extensible Stylesheet Language) plays a crucial role in modifying data structure and users'management according to the demand. alstorehouseoffos
