In this paper, the kinds, forms of melt adhesives and their market developments of recent years in USA, Western Europe and Japan are reviewed. The reactive, HMA, HMPSA, new synthetic substrates for HMA and coating equipments are introduced. The present situation and development of HAM are presented.
