综述了过电压保护气体放电管的结构性能和原理，着重论述了放电管设计和大规模现代化生产的方法。同时，讲述了二电极放电管和三电极放电管的测试、试验及其应达到的主要标准。
This paper summarizes the construction, performance and principle of gas discharge tubes for overvoltage protection and reviews especially the methods of design and manufacture which are being used in the modern large scale production. The tests of 2-element and 3-element tubes and the technical standards which they must reach to are described
