摘要
《西游记》文本有典型的数理机制,框架取譬于"一元"之数,主体拟《老子》"道生一,一生二,二生三,三生万物"之序,表现为"一"以贯之,"二"以变之和"三"以成立、"七"以成之等等。进而深入看来,以《易经》"天地之数"为代表的我国古代神秘数字在《西游记》中几乎都有所运用,从而《西游记》的形象体系几乎是一种"数字化存在";数理的原则决定了《西游记》文本的秩序与比例等,配合并凸显了全书因道成佛,证"无"成"空"的基本倾向。
A typical symbolic mechanism is contained in A Journey to the West which, modeled on the 'oneness'(yi yuan), mainly imitates the doctrine of 'one gives birth to two, two, to three, and three, to everything on the earth' of Laozi. Looking into it more deeply, it can be found that almost all the ancient China's mysterious numerals represented by those of Heaven and Earth of The Book of Changes, are employed in the novel, thus its imagery system has nearly become an existence of symbols. That is, the symbolic mechanism determines the order and proportions of the novel, and collaboratedly gives prominence to its basic tendency of cultivating oneself into Buddha with Tao, and exemplifies that 'nothingness' is after all 'emptiness'.
