Through establishment of the mathematical model which expresses the benefication result by the high-gracdient magnetic separation,the effect of impurity such as Fe,Ti and Mn on the quality of kaolin products have been anlyzed based on the test data. The author puts forward a method of enbancing product whiteness and considers that the high-gradient magnetic separation ,with low production cost without pollution,is an important tool of removing impurities from kaolin products.In the characteristics of technical mineralogy,the mineral grain size and occurrence state are two major factors which affect the effect of impurities removering in kaolin products Therefore, paying attention to the two factors during the search for minerals,the correct evaluation to the industrial utilization of mineral deposits and rational economic investment could be carried out. According to the theory of fluid dynamics,the author deems that the chemical bleach should be used after treating the kaolin products by the high-gradient magnetic benefication. And the bleach process can remove iron from kaolin crystal lattice and upgrade the whiteness of end-products.
