摘要
“9·11”事件是一起重大国际性政治事件，也是一起极为引人关注的媒体事件，它为研究突发事件报道提供了生动的个案。在这起灾难性突发事件中，美国媒体所体现出来的国家利益至上原则，反恐斗争中双方对舆论控制权的激烈争夺，我国媒体在重大国际报道中的反应与思考，均值得我们深入研究。
The Sept. 11th Terrorist Attacks are regarded as an important international political event as well as a noticeable media affair. It provides a vivid case study on reports of unexpected events. The main points we should study are: the principle of “national interest comes first' adopted by US media, the fierce struggle on both sides over control of public opinion, and the reaction of Chinese media on reporting of important international events.
