The No. 2 architectural complex of the Yanshi Shang city is the most important storehouse site of the early Shang Dynasty. The complex, encircled by the rammed - earth wall, includes at least 90 large - scale storehouse remains with drainage and storage systems and fire - fighting equipment, abandoned at the middle period of the third phase of the Yan shi Shang culture.
