摘要
杜亚泉是中国近代史上一位杰出的科学文化大家，他一生淡泊名利，独立超然于政治，坚持以科学、教育和舆论为业，是我国近代介绍西方科学知识成绩卓著的人物之一。
Du Yaquan was a prominent authority on science and culture in chinese modern history, he didn' t seek fame and wealth in his life, kept himself from politics, regarded science, education and public opinion as his vocations, and was one of the outstanding persons who introduced western science knowledge in our modem hisotry. This essay miainay discussed Du Yaquan's activities of science, education and culture throughout his life.
