摘要
过去将汉语母语教学课程命名为“语文”，不仅符合当时的历史实际，而且为母语教学的发展指明了方向。今天“语文”的含义发生了泛化，这不利于人们对母语教学课程性质、目的、任务的准确把握。为促进母语教学的顺利发展，推进汉语的国际化进程，应将“语文”改为“汉语”。
