摘要
三硼酸锂(LBO)是一种非线性光学新晶体。用改进的熔盐法及熔盐提拉法已成功地长出了35×30×15mm 的 LBO 单晶体。一个匹配方向的长度为11mm 的 LBO 倍频器对1064nm激光的倍频转换效率已达60%,经改进还可以更高。文中还报告了 LBO 的晶体结构及其他一些性能。
Lithium triborate(LBO)is a newly developed nonlinear opticalcrystal.LBO single crystals with size up to 35×30×15mm have been successfullygrown by modified flux method and flux pulling method.An energy conversionefficiency of 60% at 1064 nm has been demonstrated in a LBO doubler of 11mm in phase matching direction with higher efficiency possible.LBO crystalstructure and some other properties are also reported in the paper.
