In writing fembooks, people cast aside the value standard that traditional China regards man as the centre. Fembooks are full of feelings of grief and joy, and marks of gathering and scattering, whose themes of reproduction and forever separation come straight to the point. They have gone beyond the tradition, which takes man right as the centre and women's personal emotion circle with narrow and small writing. They didn’t write about “young women’s sorrows and grievances” or “young women who have thoughts of love”, nor about the unfairness that women are not allowed to take part in and succeed in the government’s examination. They go out of the vision of man right culture. What they raise as a cry of warning is that the imperial court has mistaken the etiquettes, and the common people have to follow them. These make fembooks have a brand-new visual angle to write. Fembooks’ realistic meanings of criticism and realm have greatly gone beyond the woman writing in the contemporary mainstream society.
