摘要
本文根据1982年中国近海及西北太平洋气候图集的风玫瑰资料计算南海各季与年平均风应力场。初步揭示了南海风应力的分布特征与其季节变化规律。
Seasonal and annual wind stress fields for the South China Sea have been computed from the wind rose data compiled in the Climatic Atlas of Chinese Off-shore Areas andNorthwest Pacific published by the Ocean Press in 1982, 480 wind roses constructed from 348,670wind reports are involved in the present study. The distribution features and-the seasonal variation of the wind stress fields over the South China Sea are revealed. The present result will be useful for further studies on the circulation and the ari-sea interaction in the South China Sea.
