摘要
文章以弗莱克斯纳《现代大学论———美英德大学研究》和《无用知识的有用性》为对象,着重分析了弗莱克斯纳的现代大学理念。弗莱克斯纳对经典大学理念的追求,对于我们在创建世界一流大学,重新审视“大学”、“科学研究”和“大学组织”,极富启发。
In this paper,the author puts the emphasize on discussing the idea of a university provided by Flexner in the books of 'Universities in America,England and Germany 'and 'The Value of the Useless Knowledge'. The author points out that the thoughts of Flexner on the classical university give us a good chance to examine the ideas such as 'university','research' and 'the organization of the university' during the course of building the world class universities in China.
