现代奥林匹克运动作为人类历史上规模最大的社会文化活动,具有强大的教育功能。以2008年北京举办奥运会为契机,在青少年中开展奥林匹克知识教育与传播,对提高青少年体育文化素养、促进道德品质修养、培养体育精神,并使其成为合格的青年奥运志愿者有着深远的意义。
As a social cultural activity on the largest scale in human history, the modern Olympic Games have strong educational function. It is of profound significance to raise adolescents?physical culture accomplishment, cultivate their physical sprit and make them qualified young volunteers to take advantage of Beijing hosting the Olympic Games in 2008 to develop Olympic knowledge education and spread among them.
