摘要
口头交际是一个双向的过程 ,因此英语口语课的恰当名称应该是英语会话课。会话能力包括理解能力 (receptiveskills)和表达能力 (productiveskills)两个方面 。
As oral communication is a two-way process, the proper term for the course in which the students learn to carry out conversations in English should be the English Conversation Class, instead of the Oral English Class, which implies that the teaching content should include both the receptive skills of reading and listening and the productive skills of speaking and even writing. In relation to this idea, there should be more activities other than speaking in the Conversation Class.
