摘要
基于从外国留学生汉语口语教材中搜集的 32 0句语料 ,本文对汉英文化中的称赞语及其应答方式进行了对比分析 ,指出它们有高度模式化的不同语言公式 ,包括语义公式、句法公式和常见应答公式 ;并分析了汉英称赞语的社会功能 。
Based on a corpus of 320 examples from some conversational Chinese textbooks,this article presents a comparative analysis of compliments and compliment responses in English and Chinese cultures,claims that compliments and responses in both cultures are highly patterned as fixed formulas.They have different semantic,syntactic and common response formulas.The article also analyses the social functions of English and Chinese compliments,and concludes the different psychocultural values and assumptions beneath the two cultures.
