摘要
通过网络传输不同层次的几何点、线、面信息 ,实现了模型的边传输、边显示和边操作 ,改善了复杂三维模型由于受到网络带宽的限制导致的传输和显示速度缓慢的状况 ,克服了传输过程中不能操作模型的缺陷
Aiming at quick transmission and display of product model in collaborative design, a new method of progressive viewing and manipulation is proposed A wireframe model is first presented, then a VRML model gives the more comprehensive view of the assembled components Points, lines and facets of 3D model are stored in hierarchical levels so that the model is progressively refined and can be manipulated concurrently The effects of low transmission rate and display speed caused by the limited bandwidth are improved and the response of operating model interactively is accelerated
