摘要
根据对1996年到2000年英语四六级考试试卷中的听力部分的分析,发现除语言知识外,背景知识在听力理解中占据着非常重要的地位.分析研究结果表明英语听力教学应加大背景知识特别是文化背景知识的份额.
After analyzing the listening comprehension part in CET4 and CET6 from 1996 to 2000 the significance of background knowledge in listening comprehension apart from the linguistic knowledge is attempted to be shown in this paper. Based on the finding of the study, suggestions are proposed for reinforcing the background knowledge,especially the cultural background in college English teaching.
