摘要
中国和美国对双边贸易不平衡问题的估计存在着很大的分歧 ,这种分歧已逐渐成为双边贸易摩擦的起因之一。 2 0 0 3年中国数据显示对美贸易顺差为 5 86亿美元 ,而美国数据显示对华贸易逆差为 1340亿美元 ,二者的差距高达 75 4亿美元。应当从计价方法、香港转口贸易、服务贸易等多个角度对此差距进行调整 ,调整的数额为 35 7亿美元 ,缩减了5 2 .7%。
China and the United States have vastly different official estimates of the bilateral trade imbalance, which has become one of the main causes of their trade friction. In 2003, Chinese figures show that China had a merchandise trade surplus of US$ 58.6 billion vis-à-vis the United States while the U.S. figures show that the U.S. had a merchandise trade deficit of 134 billion vis-à-vis China. The gap between their estimations is US$75.4. In this paper, we analyze this problem from several aspects and provide more accurate estimates.
