摘要 一、美国学生数学焦虑问题的现状 数学焦虑(math anxiety)是指一种对数学不合理的恐惧,这种恐惧妨碍了日常生活和学习情境中对数字的处理以及对数学问题的解决和应用.美国著名的数学教育家Marilyn Burns曾说,在美国有三分之二的成年人厌恶数学,甚至惧怕数学.第三次国际数学和科学研究(TIMSS)显示,美国学生从4年级升到12年级的过程中,数学成绩呈下降趋势.
