摘要
以丙烯酸异冰片酯(iBOA)、丙烯酸丁酯(BA)、甲基丙烯酸正丁酯(BMA)、丙烯酸(AA)为单体,通过半连续种子乳液聚合法合成了一种可直接在未处理聚丙烯(PP)表面涂饰的核壳型丙烯酸聚合物乳液。探讨了聚合反应条件、AA和iBOA用量对乳液性能的影响;采用透射电镜、差示扫描量热分析和粒径分析等测试技术表征了乳胶粒的结构,并以表面张力和接触角等分析了乳液在未处理聚丙烯基材上的润湿性和附着力。研究结果表明,AA用量越多,乳胶粒核壳结构越明显;iBOA的加入使得乳液表面张力降低约10mN/m,接触角降低约8°;随着iBOA用量增加,乳液在未处理PP基材上的附着力有了明显的提高。
A core-shell polymer emulsion for coating directly on untreated polypropylene was synthesized by the method of semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization,with isobornyl acrylate(i BOA),butyl acrylate(BA),N-butyl methacrylate(BMA) and acrylic acid(AA) as monomers.The effects of polymerization condition,the content of AA and i BOA on properties of the emulsion were discussed.The structure of the latex particle was investigated by TEM,DSC and particle size analyzer,and the wettability and adhesion of the emulsion on untreated polypropylene were also studied in terms of the surface tension and contact angle.The results show that the core-shell structure of the latex particle becomes clearer with increase of the AA content.The introduction of i BOA decreases the surface tension of emulsion by about 10mN / m and the contact angle by about 8°.Furthermore,with increase of the i BOA content,the adhesion of emulsion on untreated polypropylene is obviously improved.
