摘要
游戏对于儿童全面发展十分重要,可帮助儿童发展社交、智力、情绪等技能,促进儿童身体运动能力,为儿童接受挑战和冒险专门设计的游戏器材可更有利于儿童的全面发展。然而,儿童在游乐场的意外伤害引起了家长、游戏主办者、游乐场设计师、游乐器具生产商、保险从业人员、媒体工作者和体育教师等的关注,游戏主办者更因游乐场意外伤害相关法律诉讼而受挫。文章阐述挑战性游戏对儿童身心发展的益处,并探讨游戏中兼顾安全和冒险的方法。
Play is essential to children's holistic development.It is regarded as an all-encompassing activity that helps children develop social,intellectual,emotional skills and physical abilities.It is believed that equipment tailor-made for providing challenges and risk-taking would better facilitate the holistic development.However,childhood injuries incurred on playgrounds attract considerable attention from parents,play providers,playgrounds designers,equipment manufacturers,insurers,media,and physical educators.The play providers are frustrated about the litigation induced by accidents happening on playgrounds.Ways and related issues for achieving a balance between safety and risk-taking to the benefit of children in receiving a holistic development through challenging play would be discussed in this article.
