摘要
由于特殊的地理和人文环境,早期沙市商会通过积极参加社会政治活动,在清末民初动荡的政治环境中,具有着特殊的地位,做了不少有益的工作。近代荆沙商人团体的发展和演变,理应成为我们研究中国近代商会史和湖北地方史的重要内容。
Due to the special geographical and anthropological circumstances, the early chambers of commerce in Shashi had a special status and did a lot of good work in the fluid political circumstances at the end of the Qing Dynasty and at the beginning of the Republic of China through its active participation in various social activities. The development and change of the modern commercial organizations in Jingzhou and Shashi should fall into the study of the modern history of Chinas chambers of commerce and the local history of Hubei.
