摘要
等离子体是由自由电子、离子以及中性粒子等组成的电离气体,温度较低的等离子体称为低温等离子体。低温等离子灭菌新技术已经应用于水、空气、医疗器械的灭菌。本文详细介绍了低温等离子的概念、灭菌装置以及采用低温等离子技术对医疗器械、食品等进行灭菌处理,从而提高水果、蔬菜以及其他不适合采用传统的加热以及化学灭菌的食品的安全性。另外,本文也对低温等离子灭菌新技术在治理水和空气等环境污染上的应用也进行了讨论。
Plasma in physics and chemistry is a partially ionized gas and non-thermal plasma is a low energy discharge state of gaseous molecules.A variety of innovative non-thermal plasma technologies have been developed as antimicrobial treatments for application to water,air and facilities.This paper gives an overview of non-thermal plasma sterilization technologies and their potential application to enhance the safety of foods(fruit,vegetables and others) with fragile surfaces which are not suitable for conventional food processing methods including chemicals and heat treatment.Application of non-thermal plasma in control of environmental pollutants is also discussed.
