摘要
阴阳五行对我国古代哲学和科学思想产生过巨大影响,在我国天文学、农学、医学等方面应用十分广泛。隋萧吉《五行大义》说:"夫五行者,盖造化之根源,人伦之资始。"这说明我国古代认为物质和精神都源于阴阳五行。《周易》和八卦也是我国学术上的一大理论问题,数千年来人们一直在对它进行研讨,几乎从未间断。英国科学史家李约瑟在所著《中国科学技术史》中,把阴阳五行和易理称为中国科学最基本的观念或理论。
The theory of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements as well as the philosophy in theBook of Changes (the Eight Diagrams) have a great impact on traditional scientificthinking in China. It was found in recent years that the 10-Month Solar Calendar hadbeen in use in the past over a long period of time in the south-west of China in mino-rity nationality regions. The author notes in this article that the 10-Month Calendaris China's most ancient calendar and the origin of the theory of Yin-Yang and the FiveElements as well as the Eight Diagrams in the Book of Changes are all related to theancient 10-Month Calendar. On the basis of newly-discovered material, this article de-monstrates this problem and solves some knotty problems in ancient Chinese history.
