The article holds that the theory of a product's life cycle refers to the process of change of a certain industrial product from prosperity to decline in the international market because of the loss of monopoly technically. The basic reason of the loss of monopoly is that any industrial product can be produced through standarized production and can be modelled on. A tourism product is not exactly so. The untransferability in space, the specific historical and cultural connotation and the specific space environment of a tourism product determine that it is a monopolic product that cannot be copied. Therefore,a tourism product is unlikely to be so frequently replaced as an industrial product. on the contrary, the longer a tourism product lasts; the higher its value; the more attractive it will he to the tourists.
